you told me to lay

on the bed

so i did,

on my stomach,

arms splayed to the sides

like wings,

wrists tucked beneath my

chin as i waited

for your warm

melty

hands to graze my shoulder

blades

spine

nape of my neck,

the dimples at the bottom

of my back,

oil lapping

licking

kneaded skin,

swimming in the vibrant pools

of my closed eyelids

& matching my huffs

to yours,

waiting for the kiss

that would wet my cheek

when you finished

.

i realize i miss that
